that's wrong. Levein won the league and cup double in 1986 as a player.

I don't think Coyle has won anything as a manager.

Selective use of data, clearly that is post 1986 honours.

I don't think Coyle has won anything as a manager.

He got Burnley promoted to the Premiership through the play offs in 2009.

He was also jointly in charge of Falkirk in 2003 when they won the First Division but they weren't promoted because Brockville didn't meet SPL standards.

League with Falkirk and the play offs with Burnley.

In the interest of balance and fairness, can I add that Potter has won a manager of the month award.

Fantastic table. Brimming with useful data.

Not sure that’s right. Did Canning not win the First Division with Gretna a couple of seasons before signing for us?

Steve Robinson was centre midfield for Luton Town when they won the League 1 Championship in 2005 and capped for N.I. seven times, don't know if that counts.

Fair enough Falkirk, but winning the play-offs surely doesn't count? Teams placed 3rd-6th in the league face each other.

He’s also claiming the Arabs Scottish Cup win under Houston, as he basically built the team.

Levein clearly put the building blocks in place during his time at Leicester which allowed them to go on and win the EPL. Claudio Ranieri was obviously just following instructions Levein left for him and all future managers in the managers desk drawer.

Craig Levein won the 1986 hide and seek championships.

When his team needed him most he disappeared into his bog and nobody could find him.

What has Alan Archibald won as a manager?

Which gets the team promoted. Of course it counts. If getting promoted to the premier league isn’t an achievement then who knows what is.

Yes, that is an achievement. But getting promoted through the play-offs doesn't get you a winners medal.

The league table also falls into that category.

It does in England. Gets you a trophy too

So the team that wins a division gets a winners medal. I assume 2nd place is still good enough for a runners-up medal. The team which wins the play-off gets a winners medal whether they finished 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th in the league.

Oh for the good old days when the league finished and you looked forward to the cup final, or ****ed off on your holidays.

Second place get a trophy as well.

You get a trophy for winning the play offs so I would say it does count.

Plus anything that puts Craig Levein in a bad light is fine with me.

Now, if anyone knows any notable achievements we can award Steve Robinson...

He was part of the Luton squad that won the League One title in 2004/05.

Caps clearly don’t count or you’d have to class Levein a winner.

Poor old Craig. Still, I’m sure that Bogbuster of the Year 1986 gong has pride of place in the Levein household, just next to the bidet in the downstairs loo.

Add Ginger to your table and we have the best manager by a mile in the SPL!!! The 3 x Y stat doesn't lie.

Is this the criteria the SFA used to shortlist for the national team job?!
