Hibs development team are away to St Johnstone this Tuesday.
The game is being played at New Central Park, home of Kelty Hearts, 2pm KO
Great wee set up they have at Kelty, worth a visit if you can make it
Look forward to keeping our run going

I refuse to acknowledge that any club with "Hearts" in their name have anything good about them.

Wonder what the history of where their name came from?

Wonder what the history of where their name came from?

They were formed in 1975 - I’d guess by Hearts supporters. Very ambitious club looking to get into the senior ranks.

We played them in a friendly to open their new stand in 2016 and they provided very good quality live YouTube coverage for their own YouTube channel Kelty Hearts TV.

Might provide coverage of your game?

Random piece of largely useless information but their goalkeeper (Scott Christie) used to live in the street next to mine when he was younger.

I’m going to pop along this afternoon. Having seen Kelty a number of times in the Junior League, I can assure anyone going that they will be mightily impressed with the set up at New Cental Park. Vastly superior to most senior clubs, so a good setting to watch the Development Team

The *uggers beat my home town team 0-9 on Saturday.

Lucky to be level, been getting outplayed at times so

2-1 Hibs, throw in for Hibs, Lewis Allan spins his man and shoots gone from inside the box
Been all Hibs this half, and deservedly ahead now

Great 2nd half from Hibs, destroyed Saints, and should have been 6 or 7

Very impressive display today, could have been 6 or 7 easily. Completely brushed St Johnstone aside in the second half

Ryan Porteous continues to stand out as the next first team regular in waiting.

I did wonder why he wasn't playing for Man City against Wigan last night. When did he join us?

Ha ha oops Stirling. No team sheets at the match, so I was typing away as the game was starting!

Will try and give better service next time for the readers😄

I think they got their facilities through Fife Council, their ground had to be moved to allow the new community facility to be built.
Both are really good.

Was at the game today, facilities excellent, and a great bunch of people running it
Only shame is the Hearts name, and maroon painting all around
Maybe Hibs need to do something with a wee local team

There already is a 'local' (to Kelty) team with the Hibs name.

Their home ground is Memorial Park and the team colours are green and white. Their ground is just north east of Kirkcaldy.

And it's in a public park not really compliant with the junior rules

Any idea why Celtic are so far behind in the amount of games played? Or is it simply they have been unlucky with the amount of postponed games?

They postponed games when they were playing in the champions league under 20’s competition

Where are the rangers ?

They withdrew from the development league this season in favour of playing challenge matches against sides from Europe and other sides in the UK.
