Extremely tragic news although I feared it was inevitable given his diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.
It's devastating for his friends and family although I'm glad he's no longer in pain.

As soon as I noticed this thread I feared the worst.
A very talented young footballer that never really reached his full potential.
Absolutely no age whatsoever, but there was an air of inevitability given his diagnosis.

Horrible hearing something like this about someone that age.
There was a spell in his first season where he was absolutely brilliant for us. I remember him absolutely running the game at Celtic Park when Galbraith scored in the last minute

Special mention to Liam for his pivotal part in the 09/10 season which imo was the only decent from winning the league cup until now
Can remember that season vividly. Big wins in glasgow, 6-6, losing 5-1 in Perth. End of season slump. But played some amazing football and destroyed some teams at ER. Liam's midfield partnership with Kevin McBride. Zemmama. Stokes. Riordan. Going forward we were a joy to watch.
Still laugh about the Bolton game pre season. Their Goalie organising his testimonial against his good mate and hibs manager Mixu. Only for Mixu to leave at the end of the season. Still, what a trip that was

Absolutely.
Liam Miller was a young man who has tragically lost his life after suffering one of the most awful illnesses known to mankind and has left behind a young family.
A minute's silence is the most appropriate way to mark his passing in my opinion and I hope Hibs announce it will be a silence as opposed to an applause ahead of the game next week.

Any churchgoers make any sense of this remark?
Speaking at the funeral mass in his home village of Ovens, parish priest Fr Liam O hIci, said Mr Miller had "completed his life to the full".
Seems an odd thing to say about a 36-year-old.

Probably just that he lived life to the full when alive.
