2 calls up from Hibs, Ryan Porteous and Fraser Murray. Always great for these young Hibs lads get call ups, but both will miss Hibs v Hamilton on the 28th Feb
Hope our centre back injury’s improve by then!

Quite ridiculous considering they’ll be struggling to get 20k at that game.

Must be tight for money, would have to pay ground rent at ER etc

As much as I hate to say it 7 players from The Rangers in the squad is pretty impressive can’t have been many other times with anything like this amount of players from one team?

Either that or hoping for as big an attendance as possible to fund compo or a sign on fee..

Yet they don’t play in the development league??? I wonder what the selection criteria involves?

They use the same criteria as they use in the cup draws, share out of money, and refereeing decisions....

I think it's quite a regular occurrence for the younger national squads to be dominated by Celtc and The Rangers players.

It would be interesting to learn how many of them transition (is that a verb - Ed.) into full internationals. It would be interesting to learn how many transition into full-time professional careers. I would't be surprised to learn that the usual Old Filth bias is just as rigorously applied at U19 level as it is at full international whereby a player automatically improves by dint of wearing a Celtc or Rangers jersey.
