Hibee Mac
27-01-2018, 01:05 PM
When will Swanson get game time? He's one of our most technically gifted players and has sat on the bench all season. I know he's had personal issues but I'll be very disappointed if he doesn't feature heavily in the second half of the season.

IMO we have too many players in the side who are predictable and Swanson brings that spark that we are crying out for.

I was quoting Lennon from BBC pre match interview that said it was up to the player
coukd well be the player has decided to stay and fight for his place
he could be the missing link in creating chances and I woukd have played him in a central attaching midfield role today

Yeah, I’m not having a go at him, In general we seriously lack a good striker. Shaw can’t just step up to that level overnight. Would actually be a shame to lump that pressure on the boy.

Hope he does well today he defo has talent, just be nice for him to have someone to keep him right like Holt used to do with Cummings.

We don’t just play Celtic weekly though do we! We are in desperate need of a proper goal scorer. Shaw I think could well become that in due course but right now it’s clear from the games we have played a striker who can put half these chances away is needed.

I would have played big Dave and try to make it stick like the other Lithuanian did at Ibrox when we pumped them 3-0 under Coco. Shaw on his own struggled against hertz. Will be doubly hard today.

Depends how we set up against them. If we allow them to play Shaw won’t get a sniff and be isolated. If we press them like you say it maybe bring others into the game if they man mark Shaw!

I predict a tough afternoon today but we are more than capable of taking a point as we did before.

Looking decent so far, despite the goal deficit. McGinn is looking a bit isolated out on the left of midfield so far, being crowded out too often for my liking. Dylan is certainly demanding the ball lots and is keeping us ticking over.

Dembele coming on is a slightly different type of threat.

Efe won’t be dropped. Lennon loves him.

I got the impression it was Hanson's error. Seems harsh to pin it all on Efe. The entire defence have hardly covered themselves in glory in many games. No concrete evidence to suggest that it's Efe's fault every week.
