So apparently it's sound for thousands of people to call an innocent person a rapist, in the name of sport?

The most crass and classless bunch of supporters outside of Glasgow, hands down.

Gorgie Billy Boys. :aok:

Yep, very strange given he’s never been accused of anything of that sort (to my knowledge anyway) and classless indeed.

Until vast amounts of our fans stop singing and dancing in celebration of a man dying from cancer though, I’ll find it hard to go Finger pointing over a brief (albeit needless and poor) chant.

To be fair, the singing section sing songs about Bartley’s ‘incident’ so we can’t really complain.

Anyone care to explain more, for those of us who haven't a clue what's going on?

It’s about his recent conviction for harassment.

You can’t blame them for getting mixed up. When it comes to crimes of a sexual nature, their boundaries are all over the place.

Surprised they were able to sing anything at all, given the amount of 'fenian blood' they claimed they up to their knees in.

Can't remember hearing them as bad as that...loads of Union flags too.

Disgraceful from them today.

A bit different?

Marv got done with harassing a woman and they’ve decided to twist it to implying rape.

They should know all about employing sex offenders, they've had enough experience.

Quite weird that they think Bartley is a sex offender.

There is no comparison. Read the two cases.

Thought Budge was all for nothing off about this crap, her silence is shameful IMO.

I wonder if she will be so quick to come out and condemn the thousands of hearts supporters loudly and proudly belting out renditions of how they are "up the their knees in fenian blood" today

Not where that individual is concerned. No respect in life or in death.

I'm sure you lived through the Mercer years, Billy. Some will still have feelings of hatred towards the person who nearly killed our club, and if it were not for Hibernians, alive and kicking, taking him and his cohorts to task, we wouldn't be watching our club today.

That was a minority consisting on 90% of them.
