Tib Street Tavern in the Northern Quarter (on Tib street not surprisngly) is a pretty good sports bar and usually shows everything thats on, reasonable prices and has food on.

if you're in the south of the city then Duffy's in Chorlton usually has Scottish games.

I watched the last Derby in Mulligans on Southgate. It was relatively empty but plenty of seats and plenty of TVs and they were cool with changing the channel when I asked if they could put the game on and turn the volume up.
