With heavy snow being forecast for Edinburgh tomorrow will they 'forget' to switch the heating on (if it works) to allow SN more time to bed-in at the PBS ? I wish I could get a bet on it.

There's a risk that a hard arctic permafrost will improve the ruts on the pitch and make the surface more playable than normal so expect the yams to go for a postpoment or another power failure so they can get their tractors on the pitch again.

Just checked a few weather sites looks like rain possible when game on but IMO no snow forecast so no chance of being off

Depends how many injuries they have as.to whether some dramatic situation arises with their pitch !!

A bad playing surface will delight Levein.
They have made no effort to improve the pitch at Tynie.

Apparently going to lay a hybrid pitch in the summer like the one at Murrayfield. That one cost £1m so no idea how they are going to manage that.

Walked through gorgie this morning and it's icy to be careful tomorrow folks. It must have rained a bit last night and now there's clear ice all over the pavements near the ground

Rain/sleet forecast for duration of the game. It'll probably be unpleasant conditions but not enough to put the game in jeopardy.

Come on Hibs, let's finish this one off without the need for a replay :flag:

I know the weather has been bad in parts of the wider Lothian area but I'm convinced I have my own micro climate in Edinburgh. I've read tales that are like something from The Day After Tomorrow all week but over the course of the week I've been in Newcraighall, Niddrie, Colinton, Oxgangs, Liberton, Leith, Portobello, Granton and the city centre and with the exception of Tuesday morning barely seen more than a dusting of snow. Even the heavy snow on Tuesday seemed to thaw very quickly.

The hertz have hired the Motherwell groundsman on a consultancy basis to seek his advice on the dark arts of electric blanket failings, mystery power cuts and even the occasional flooded pitch.

Oh wait.
