A talented, hard working boy with his head screwed on from a great family - think he could do really well over there.

And if it doesn't work out - you know where to come next.. Good luck Liam. Forever a Hibee legend.

Glad he's finally seen sense and gotten out of that pitfall of a club for so many youngsters. Only negative is that he didn't sign for us but I think he'll do well out there.

With Liam Henderson I would genuinely like him to make it rather than fail and be back to us any time soon through selfish reasons. Not many players I would say similar about.

I read that due to the entitlement rules in the different leagues he's played in, he's already got two league championship medals and three cup winners' medals.

It's not very often you'll find a Scottish player with Celtc, Rosenborg, Hibs and Bari on their CV at the age of 21.

I wish him all the very best. Bari are well-placed in Serie B and in contention to go up. They would undoubtedly rejig their squad if they make it into Serie A but if Henderson does well over the rest of the season then he could be the first Scot to play in Serie A since Souness!

Good move for him but disappointed he's not ended up at ER.

I always like to see Scottish players take the chance to play abroad so can't do anything more than wish him all the best. A true Hibs legend.

I love that a young Scottish player has taken a punt on playing on the continent.

Too many of our players exist in a comfort zone - he's made a few bold moves already in his career, and tbh has been well rewarded for those moves.

It's good to be able to wish cup winning legends all the best. Not always easy/ possible, depending on the destination.

It was tough seeing him in that Bari kit - knowing that, despite so much wishful thinking by so many, he is not coming back to us - well, not at this stage of his career anyway
I wish him well and hope that he gets the game time and recognition for his undoubted talent.

Was in Bari in 2007 for the Scotland game. Weird stadium, and seem a bit of a yo-yo team between Seria A and B.

However it’s great to see young Scottish talent cutting their teeth abroad. It will be fantastic development, great climate, decent money and he’ll be fluent in Italian in about a year.

Buon Fortuna Hendo.

... or maybe Bari aren't so desperate as to throw a brand new signing, who hasn't played first team football for a lengthy period, into a crucial match. A match they simply must win because their managers balls are in a vice :greengrin

Well done to Hendo who played 71mins of Bari's 1-0 win over top of the table Frosinone (who?).

The goal from a corner looks a bit similar to Sir David Gray's but it wasn't Henderson who delivered it. Maybe Hendo taught them it in training.

Whenever he played I always though his style was more continental and that one day he might end up abroad .... a super young guy with a brilliant attitude ..... As another poster said, much as it would be great to see him at Hibs it would be just as nice to see him be a success there and put himself way out of our price range. He will always be a Hibs legend and wherever he ends up he will never get as good a welcome as he will if he ever returns to Easter Road, even if its to do the half time draw.

All the very best to you Liam :aok:

A pragmatic yet warm post to a Hibernian Legend. As much as we would have loved him to rapidly return to ER as a player he legitimately sought to ply his professional trade in greatly more respected footballing oceans than our small pond here in Scotland. Hopefully he'll visit ER in one form or another sometime in the future of which I'm certain he'll receive a rapturous Time for Heroes welcome.

Best of luck and best wishes to you too Liam :aok:.

I was in Venice last weekend and went along to watch him play for Bari against Venezia. He was on the bench and got on for the last 10 mins and was good when he got on. Bari were 3-0 down after about half an hour as they couldn’t defend. Game finished 3-1. Generally a good standard of football though. The Bari goal was a peach. There was only about 5,000 there (guess) but it very noisy from both sets of fans with loads of pyro.
I tweeted mentioning I was going to the game and tagged Hendo. He sent me a direct message inviting me to the team hotel to meet the players on Friday night. I couldn’t make it but what a legend. He did not need to do that. Would love to see him back in Hibs shirt one day.
