Every chance it'll be moved can't remember last time we played 3 o'clock on a Saturday league game against them.

Hence the reason I said every chance it'll be moved.

Huns and the Smellies play each other that weekend so I’d imagine our game will be 12.30 on the Saturday & The Bigotfest at 12 on the Sunday.

Sky have both bigot fest and Manchester Utd v Liverpool that weekend both early games. I think ours will be Sunday going against us.

Argh, my son’s birthday that day, hadn’t realised the next derby was the 10th Mar until I’d seen this thread!

And it’s my other son’s birthday this coming Sunday, so I’m going to miss both derbies!!

It’ll never happen but I’d love it to be the Friday night on BT Sport.

Has there not been a Derby on BT sport a couple of times before? Maybe they will get this one due to the Old firm and Manchester Derby which, if they do, I would not be surprised if it was a Friday night. I see no reason why it wouldnt/couldnt be any way. And I for one would welcome that :)

Loads of derbies on BT sport who will have a match on lunchtime Saturday too from the EPL so we will get the Sunday with bigots on Sat and Utd Liverpool Sunday.

I don’t think the police would be especially pleased about an Edinburgh Derby taking place on a Friday night.

It seems to be that Sky and BT get 2 Edinburgh derbies each

The last one was a night game in between Christmas and New Year with most fans on holiday, so don't really see what the difference is. Spirits are going to be high regardless of when a derby is scheduled.

Is there really that much trouble between hibs and hearts fans these days? There is more trouble when the bigot bros are in town.

The Sheffield derby was last Friday.. 33,000 sell out.. if that’s not a problem for the police down there don’t see why it should be up here.. I might be wrong but have Celtic not got a Europa cup match on the Thursday..? Which would mean there derby would be the Sunday.

I think it was April 2006 at Easter Road, Benjelloun scores the winner.

It is FA Cup weekend, so if one of Manchester United or Liverpool get through to the Quarter Finals then that game will be postponed. Manchester United are away to Yeovil Town, so you would think they would get through.

There was another round that time, finished 2-2 - we hammered them and then webster scored with a late flukey deflection.

It’ll be moved though - hopefully not to the Sunday at 12 which has got to be the worst tv slot of them all?

The FA Cup weekend is the following weekend.

I've already booked train tickets up and down for that weekend so it needs to be played at 12:00 on the Sunday the latest or I'm going to miss it.

The last 3 derbies have been night games and passed without any trouble.

I doubt it will happen but I dont think there would be any difference from a Police perspective if the game was a Friday night compared to a Saturday 12.30.

If anything the Saturday might be worse as folk have all day and night to drink after the game has finished.

You would like to think that they won't wait until 22nd February to decide when these matches will be taking place.

In that case the old firm match would be the Sunday to be on the safe side meaning us on the Sat.
