Watched Chariots of Fire for the umpteenth time today and it struck me that Eric Liddell must have been the first Chinese athlete to win a gold medal, in fact any medal, at an Olympic games. After all, if GBR can claim medals won by a number of athletes born in other countries then I don't know why China isn't laying claim to Liddell's :greengrin
