The most finely poised one for a while.

If it was at Easter Road I'd be about 90% confident of us winning.

At the moment, because it's at Tiny, I'm about 60/40 in our favour

However, the fact that they've lost Harry Zidane to suspension coupled with Stokes outstanding performance yesterday could push me to 70/30 for us.

It's a tough one to call.

1-0 Hibs

They don't concede many but they also don't score many.

We just need to keep it tight at the back, which we haven't managed to do much as we really struggle to keep clean sheets.

There's not usually much in these games and I don't think this game will be any different. Hopefully Martin Boyle will be on top form as their struggles at left back are well documented.

The next couple of games are going to be very tough. Hearts and Killie are the two form teams in the league over the last 6 games. Both get the ball into the box a lot and are pretty robust. I would bite your hand off for 4 points out of 6

Anybody expecting silky football will be disappointed. That pitch is a cow field. Team formations will be almost irrelevant and defenders will need to stand up an be counted. Should suit Daz and that buffoon berra. Probably won't suit Hanlon though.

It will be a tight game, they will flood the midfield and have Lafferty up front on his own.
I’m tipping Barker to step up and really make a name for himself on Wednesday. He been knocking on the door for a few weeks now.
2-0 Hibs, Barker gets both.

I think a few on here need reminding that despite picking up points against the world class sides of Dundee and Motherwell and a Celtic side flat on their *****, hearts are still... well, S****. I'm never one to go into Derby games with total confidence that's their mentality but I still have absolutely nothing to fear from them whatsoever and see no reason why we can't continue our recent success in this fixture on Wednesday, away from home or not.

And out of all of those, the only games that a side scored more than 1 goal was the 3-2 game 11 years ago. Missed off my list as it was Boxing Day and the games I had checked were closer to New Year’s Day. Point still fairly valid that majority of games at tynecastle at this time f year are drab, low scoring games with very little entertainment and I can’t see that changing on Wednesday on that cow pit.

Just catching up on Saturday's game via Hibs TV and judging by Lennon's interview there and on other news outlets he was really impressed, particularly with Shaw. I've got a feeling that we are going to be set up offensively to take the game to Hearts.

Going for an absolute rout for Hibs. Why? Because I believe NL will have Hibs up for this game. Think Celtic turned up expecting to win and before they knew it game over and a very good result for Hertz.

This was probably a bad mistake for Hertz to pull a game out of nowhere like that as its now giving Hibs the ammo to get their heads in this game and to turn up knowing they have to perform to get a result.

I could actually see NL playing a blinder here and actually showing them up at home. Do I think we’ll get beat truthfull answer NO.

We have too much quality for them and so they will , as usual, rely on sheer muscle power and in-your-face tactics.
Harry P. has, as usual, got them near water-tight at the back, so we will be limited to a narrow one goal victory to continue our dominance over them.
The mental game has already been won by our lads and the fear in their players, all too remindful of their being played off the park too many times in recent derbies, will see our boys edge a tight, niggly and absorbing game.

I’d be surprised if we don’t see a similar line up Billy. Sure Pretty Boy posted a very similar team a few days back.

Maybe swapping Shaw for Murray unless he is kept when the Yams legs start to go last 20?

Get Barker on the bench until we can see what the conditions are like and see if there's any benefit for him to come on at some point on that tattie field.
