For him to cancel 100 shows that don't start for another 4 months, it must be very serious. Thoughts with him and his family.

Disappointed I won't get to see his new show, but family is more important.

I was saying I bet Ticketmaster etc keep all the booking fees so still make a mint.

My email from Amazon tickets says its a full refund but theres no small print or anything. I imagine the T&C's at the time stated any cancellation would mean no refund of booking fee. They ain't daft that's for sure.

My brother told me a few years ago that he was seriously ill, so it is always of surprise to me when he pops up looking fit and well (my brother would tend not to be too far off the mark on these things due to his work and former work).

Peter Kay does protect his privacy, and he is very popular with the public, so no media source would really want to do him over.

I do wonder what all of this is about though.

He's a funny man. Phoenix Nights is one of the best comedies ever made.

I had tickets for Manchester Arena. Gutted but same as original post. he's cancelled into 2019 too so must be bad.

Hope he and his family are ok.

Tbf ticketmaster will still have needed to provide the staff, phone lines etc so probably makes sense they still get paid.

Should probably come from Kaye and his team though rather than joe public.

Ticketmaster have already said that all associated fees will be refunded alongside the ticket price.

No real comment to make on Peter Kay, hope him and his family pull through whatever HOWEVER **** ticketmaster and their monopoly robbing genuine music fans of once in a lifetime experiences and their false attempt at controlling ticket scalping while propogating it with their own scalping site at the same time

**** ticketmaster, **** em hard
