A sign of the times I guess but surprised there's not already a thread on this. Guy tried to blow himself up during rush hour in the corridor/tunnel that connects PA bus station with the subway. Could have left 100s dead or injured if he'd been successful. Scary stuff.

What gets me is that the Ney York governor Andrew Cuomo said that it was an “amateur level bomb.” Since when do we critique terrorists bombs??

It's part of a strategy to ridicule and belittle those whose actions seek adulation.

If people who are considering committing this type of act can be forced to research it further, it increases the likelihood of them being detected before they act.

Fair point, never looked it that way to be honest.
Won’t be the last attack over the Xmas period, fingers crossed that all of them are as amateur.
