What is your hope/ dream/ambition for this season..?

I’ll take top 4 and remain unbeaten against hearts.. to me that is the big goal.. won’t be easy.

I'll be pretty disappointed if we finish any lower than 4th to be honest, considering where we are at the moment.

Europe next season via the cup or league.

IF we win our next two games then I’ll be hoping for an Aberdeen and Rangers win when they play Celtic....

I'd say second is up for grabs seeing as the 2nd and 3rd club are currently locked together. Its a three way fight between Rangers the Dons and ourselves. The Club is in a different place, on the rise, theres no reason why we cant take third or second spot. BELIEVE.

I put a wee bet on Hibs to win the League so that's my ambition.

But surely 2nd is within reach? The Rangers did over the Dons to bag 6 points but they aren't that great.

Anything lower than fourth would be disappointing IMO.

Second would be fantastic and is achievable. Third or fourth would be a good first season back, with a wee cup run as a bonus.

Much will depend on what happens in the transfer window. If we can get another couple of players in and also get Swanson back then there is no reason we can't finish second. However , I think top 4 would be a great season and getting into Europe would surpass most supporter's expectations.

Finishing above them in the league is the main aim, when it comes to that lot.

Injuries aside, I think this will easier than you think. Who from the teams below is going to improve enough to go on a long run and be better than us? No-one I can see.

Top 4 is all about us !!

And if we could only do a bit better at home we can still leap frog Aberdeen and The Rangers 2012.

When first coming up from a division below first goal really is to survive. Thankfully we have a squad that was ready for bigger goals and is proving it. The worst 4th the best 2nd with a good cup run. Also agree undefeated against that mob. 👍🏼

You mean 2 wee cup runs aye?

After three years in the doldrums, I honestly was ready for a year of consolidation, with no rubbing shoulders with relegation. Job done, and I’m willing to admit to underestimating our potential. I’ll now be disappointed with anything lower than 4th.

We've already had a good cup run?

I agree with a lot of the above posts which makes today’s point even more of a bonus.. Celtic will surely beat Hearts/ Motherwell.. European football would be amazing especially after bronby.. lots to look forward to this season.. looking forward to another Full house at ER on Wednesday.. GGTTH

2nd spot is achievable, within our reach and realistic.
A wee Scottish cup final win would be a nice bonus - more so if we dump the Jambos on the way, again!

We can fight for 2nd 3rd finishing 4th has no shame in it but IMO we can take Sevco and Aberdeen on.

2nd is up for grabs, but Aberdeen seem capable of grinding out results as they did at Easter Road, even if they do **** it against the ugly sisters. Anywhere in the top 4 will be a very good season. If we can get past Hertz in the cup, and it will be a difficult game, we are a match for anybody bar Celtic and are well capable of making the final with a decent draw.

What I would say is our record in the few times we have made the top 6 is utterly dismal .... its something we will have to overcome if we hope to make a dent at the business end of the season.

If we finish in the top 4 and make another semi final that will be a more than decent season.

Anywhere in the top 4 would be great and also extending our current unbeaten run against the ****bos to include some new history-making scorelines - high-time NL's team achieved it's own 0-7 !!

January is huge for us. If we can get through Jan with out losing anyone and getting one or two in to enhance the team then if like to see us have a go at 2nd but I'd be delighted with 4th

Top four. Aberdeen have more squad depth and it will take more time for us to build this.

If you offered everyone at the start of the season top 6, finishing above hearts and remaining unbeaten against them I'd have bitten your hand off. But now I think I'd be disappointed if we finished below 4th

Top 4 would be an achievement for any team coming up from a lower division. European place would be exceptional.

Expect top 4.
Confident can get top 3.
Hopeful for top 2.

Start of season I said top 6 would be a reasonable return.

Would've accepted top 6 given it's out first season back but after our start I'd be disappointed to not finish in the top 4 now.

Think we should be aiming for 2nd and another Hampden trip in the Scottish cup.

We started the season with the 4th best squad and have performed to that level.
Have done better than forecast against the best teams but have lost points to some of the poorer ones.

Surprised how bad Hearts & Rangers have been especially given the money Rangers spent.

Hibs are clearly superior to all teams below them and they will not be coming back to us.
Motherwell have started to get injuries to their star players.
Hearts squad is poor with only half a team of starters.
St Johnstone are falling back.

A lack of a cutting edge and no dead ball specialist will probably mean we stay 4th.

It is great being a good team again with season on season improvements to come.
