One for the stattos....

Assuming we get 20k+ against Sevco on Wednesday, when was the last time we had over 20k at two consecutive home games? 60's/70's maybe?

Very impressive.

Just out of interest, is that attendance even possible at Tynecastle?

Sadly for them, absolutely not.

Until they confirm what their ground holds nobody will know 😂

If today was a sell out and we publish tickets sold rather than actual attendees why is it not 20,400 or whatever the capacity is?

I could be wrong but a quick check and I reckon 1988-89 when we drew 24,000 v Celtic on 1/10/88 and then 27,000 v Rangers on 12/10/88. We did play Man Utd in between though in Gordon Rae's testimonial which drew 14,000 fans.

The year before we had 24,500 v Celtic on 28/11/87 and then 21,000 v Rangers on 12/12/87 which was consecutive home games.

Good work! I thought it may have been further back

And there were still loads of empty seats in the ff lowerWe released 5 season tickets for resale for lower FF on the 4th due to work/holidays, hibs got back & thanked us & said they would release the seats for sale imediately, on looking at the extended highlights today it looked like the seats werent purchased, shame really

Midweek game against a more hostile support, I cant see us making 20k on wednesday. I think a few more spaces in the lower FF.

Anyone know why Hibs tape off the very bottom corner of the East? About 40 seats there never now sold.

Yes against cat A teams, Celtic Rangers Hearts.

It may be that all big teams do this, we're just copying Hearts and not selling that corner of the stand.

Wonder how many were physically there yesterday - about 18k? Not wanting to criticise Hibs' decision to count tickets sold rather than bums on seats, just genuinely interested.

Judging by the vast open spaces in the new stand as well as the School End, it may be some time before we find out.

Funny but the one I’m looking forward to is Ross County on the 23rd. Be a welcome drink up with comrades before settling down to a relaxed family Christmas. I reckon we could sell 18k opening the south for that one. (Cue “no chance before Christmas” brigade)

Already a section open in the South Stand as it's a Hibs Kids game. Sales look pretty healthy, the usual end rows have plenty, but not bad at all.

20k. There were scatterings of seats empty in the FF lower but apart from that the place was packed.

Only if 380,000 don't turn up.

There's a small area left empty in the East and the unsold seats were presumably in the executive area in the West
