Would be a decent replacement for McGinn, seems a physical force going forward and defensively.

Neil’s at the game, sure he will be watching him closely, if he’s Hibs class
What’s his background

Good pedigree, but do you remember the last guy we had, who came from their academy, and he was their under 21 Captain as well!
One of the worst players I’ve ever seen at ER

If he's the guy I'm thinking of he was excellent against us and kept McGinn very quiet for most of the game.

He was an absolute joker. No idea how he was at Arsenal.

Noticed Lennon said at half time he really likes Deacon. Think he played well against us before being subbed for some reason too.
Not saying we’ll list go out and sign him but wonder if he’ll be one on our radar for the summer?

It’s amazing how many times Aberdeen play poorly but manage to find a goal in a horrible scrappy game.

I like Deacon for Dundee. Him and Boyler on the wings would be good

He said on a few occasions when he was summarising on BT last season that he really liked Simon Murray.

I think hes realy poor, zero end product. Been impressed by Kamara though.

Deacon looks good in spells but never seems to produce over a full game. Rooney has been awful.

Christ that was *****. Aberdeen keeper is the only man on the pitch that looked decent. McInnes really looks like a two faced Hun prick!

Lennon seems to be good at bringing consistency to certain players games. Look at the change in Boyle.

This is a very good example. He’s managed to really bring on Boyle and help him mature as a player. That’s great man-management right there. Sees potential and knows how to get the best from him. Boyle also loves it here which can be a huge help when looking at a players form.

I was watching continental football. I saw a few players that could do a job for hibs. You lot need to broaden your horizons:greengrin

Kamara is a good player, recently broke into the Finnish national team. Definitely worth consideration.

I'm sure Bartley said in an interview half way through this season he was the toughest opponent he had came up against.
As a few others have said I think he could be a decent player. Think he could do the Marv role personally. But not ahead of a fit Marv though.

Lennon's signings have been a bit of a mixed bag. His greatest achievement has been getting improved performances from players who were already here.
He's certainly had a few successes, but his transfer business hasn't been as good as Stubbs' was (Stubbs was fantastic with his transfer business).
I would agree with your point though - he's done well enough that I do trust him.

Not all of us did. There was quite a number more than happy to trust the managers judgement, I'd say there were more looking forward to what he would bring than there were people 'going mental'

There were plenty in the underwhelmed camp. Plenty.

There's a few negatives but he hasn't had sufficient exposure, so I wouldn't close the shutter just yet.
