Just wanted to post a wee bit about the loss of a another true Hibby. Despite fighting battles on all fronts, Alistair Kay finally succumbed last night. Alistair grew up in Ballinluig, near Pitlochry but lived for many years in Corstorphine. I had the pleasure of attending a few Hamden games with Alistair and, despite being one of our senior comrades, his eyes always sparkled with excitement - as if he he was a wee laddie attending his first Hibs game again.
Love and peace to the family - Sláinte Mhaith Alistair.

Sad to hear of another good Hibby passing on. As I always say these days, however, at least he saw us win the Scottish Cup!!

Not a teacher but one of his laddie’s Douglas is (as well as being a talented singer/songwriter).

Thanks for the reply. Not my old teacher then but still upsetting for all his family and friends who have my condolences.

so sad to read this about Alistair. he was a neighbour of mine for many years.

Alistair ran a few football teams over the years for Broomhall Saints and gave a lot of his time to the boys club too.

my best wishes go to his wife and family.
