I can see what you mean because when the maroon guy falls to the ground his legs do catch the white guy, bringing him down. Probably accidental though and it’s a bit harsh.

From his point of view it definitely looked a penalty, only after seeing the slow replays can you see the player diving to get the penalty.

Everything looks like a penalty from Thompson's point of view.

In all seriousness though wtf are those officials behind the goals actually for? Surely he would have had the best view of that out of anyone. Bottle merchants who are stealing a wage.

He really canny help himself. I think he purposely calls it wrong (as usual) to bring all the cameras and attention on to himself. My God how he loves the spotlight.

It really pains me to say I agree,harsh but giveable,but he is still a cheating barsteward and incompetent with it

Not only proof that Scottish referees are dreadful but you might even provide proof that Scots who are not referees are the worst referees in the world. It is so clear that the attacker leaned his body into the defender Beck who was nudged off his feet.
