I understand a lot of capacity is tied up at the Monodome - until that's completed, there's no chance of a start date on the wall. Projects of these stature demand only the best the building trade can offer.

Still a lot of spec to be finalised too - it's unclear whether the associated kiosks will sell fries, or indeed whether there will be a piazza with a slightly off-set and wonky Trump logo.

I believe the Mexicans have now decided they'd like the wall after all and are wiĺling to build and pay for it themselves providing it's double the height originally planned.

If Canada fancy building an equivalent sized wall at the other side, I'm sure the rest of the world would quite happily contribute to a big dome to put over the top of it and protect them from externalities.
