His parents were actors, Jack Cassidy & Evelyn Ward.
His step-mother (& Mrs Partridge) is/was Shirley Jones.
She is still alive and recent photos suggest she has aged with grace and beauty.

Jack Cassidy was the best ever bad guy in Columbo. Think he done 3 of them and he was great in them all. Died pretty young by apparently accidentally setting himself on hire although a few people don't think the body was his. Could have done with Columbo investigating it.
