It’s sickening to watch that Jonnyboy, but well done the Rev!
Anyone know if Ref’s have to be trained in 1st aid?

Well, that was unexpected. Some referees are not there not only for money, but also have some human reactions, didn't know that... But seriously - much respect for this man!

Just goes to show what a basic knowledge of first aid can accomplish. I'd lost count of the amount of times I've see people die or suffer irreparable damage where a basic knowledge of first aid could have saved them.

Good on the ref, if first aid training for adults was compulsory there'd be a lot more people still here today.

Maybe just me, but, I think all referees and definitely kids team coaches should have to take compulsary first aid courses
