This guy seems to be taking our friends for a bit of a ride. Has hardly kicked a ball for them all season but is in with a shout of playing for Northern Ireland tonight (again).

Taking their wages, keeping up his fitness, adding to his cap tally but not playing for his club. :greengrin:greengrin

Shame that.

Craig Levein said he’s no chance of playing for norn Ireland tonight. Be interesting if he does play.

They've done really well to hang onto him. Manchester City were looking for a postit note guy and they only pulled out at the very last minute when they found out how slow he was.

On the bench

He really is shafting Hearts!

Totally shafting them. To be fair to them for once, at least they are actually aware of the shafting for a change. Similar thread on KB. He literally has one remaining goal in football and that's to break the cap record for NI. He has zero interest in kicking a ball in Scotland

Either N Ireland have no other centre halves or he is winding hearts up. No way would he be on the bench if he was unfit otherwise

N Ireland fans with shiny green and white flags, not as good as our display against Hertz though.

What, not even if he gets to kick it really high?

Hmm now that's a good point [emoji848] Perhaps he could break two records in his final season; most NI caps and part of the team who breaks the Guinness world record for most hoofs in a season

Lafferty's up front for NI.

Austin McPhee on the coaching staff. Hughes on the bench.

They haven't a hope!

They could set up another special relationship and everything.

Hughes starting for norn Ireland tonight.

Heard Levein saying he had no chance of starting, don’t know if that was just in reference to the first leg but either way I bet he’s spewing.
