Contrary to what I thought at the time, it looks like Porteous did catch the Dundee player with his arm just before the 'fracas'. Stokes certainly did then hit the player that went down but the boy was also play acting. Daft of Stokes all the same.

He caught him, pretty sure it was unintentional though and shouldn't be a free kick imo

Didn't show goal we had disallowed for offside. Wanted to see that again.

I wouldn't say it was a "hit" more a tap

McCann isn't half getting his thong in a twist over this, maybe he's trying to detract the fact his team are at the bottom of the league

Agree, just watched it and at best he used outside/back of his hand, didn't see the so called closed fist attack. But has to be careful, could have been off.

He was in no danger of causing any damage to their player and the theatrics were embarrassing but a definite red card. It was a terrible refereeing performance but we got away with one there.

Stokes needs a right talking to after that. He should have been off against Rangers and same again there.

There's no doubt their number 22 is a wee pr**k however he could have cost us with his daft actions in both games.

Would have far preferred he left it to Bartley to clatter the number 22 in open play instead...

He is trying to create a "we " mentality when it is more likely that he has lost the dressing room.

No we’re near offside as stokes crosses look to the left and there a Dundee player keeping him onside

Noticed we made a great chance from a throw in there. Just before the goal.

Murray is well onside, player in the box to his far left playing him on. Stokes looks inline, which equals onside.

Yup. Freeze framed it and he was on. But can see why the linesman flagged as it was almost impossible to tell. Perfect example of why video technology is needed.
