Martin Boyle today scored in the first minute, can’t remember many early goals in recent times especially after 1 or 2 mins ?

Pretty sure at the time, it was the fastest goal scored in the Scottish leagues. Brilliant play from Zemmama from the kick off.

Missed it. I was in my seat just as the attack started but had to get up to let a 'latecomer' and his daughter past'. During that split second we scored.

I remember that day, Dreamland after 11 seconds only to get absolutely humped.

The Hearts "support" that day was an absolute disgrace.

Aye, they certainly turned out in their numbers for this one!

It was a very good finish from Boyle. Surprised how much he's progressed.

Funnily they never turned out in numbers at all while Mcleish was manager and we had Le God and the Magician playing

De la Cruz.

Check out the paltry Hearts support. That was in the days when they were supposedly 'boycotting' ER. In reality it was because they couldn't handle playing second fiddle in the derby during the McLeish era.

Edit: Just noticed this has already been pointed out. IIRC their support was even less for the 6-2 game.

It wasn't as quick as some of the others mentioned, but I remember us scoring a peach against Motherwell at ER back in 94/95 I think. Cross from Harper or O'Neil to either Harper or O'Neil on the other wing, volley, everyone going mental. Brilliant.

I also remember the only time I was near the VIP seats in the old main stand and Joe Tortolano missed an early sitter against (Dundee?) and then scored about a minute later. This ancient old bloke in front of us banged on about how sh*t Tortolano was throughout the rest of the match. "We could have had two" etc despite the fact he'd actually scored.

That volley was at least 30 minutes into the match IIRC :hilarious

Oops! Did we score early on in that game or am I just totally befuddled? (It has been known...)

And Brian Martin red carded after the goal for swearing at the ref.

I think it was maybe scored from a kick off after Motherwell had equalised. I think in the second half.
