Any coincidence we've had 3 on the bounce since Rocky was restored to the side?

Defence is looking really solid and organised. And Rocky deserves a mention for some good saves tonight at crucial moments.

Clean sheets - that’s because ‘bed-wetting’ is off the menu these days. :greengrin

I think it's too simplistic to put it down to that.

Efe and Hanlon - two international quality centre halves who now have a proper understanding. Lewis is utterly dependable on the left and Gray gives you the same.

McGinn has developed a nasty streak to his game and helps protect the back line and also to drive the ball forward away from trouble. Barker and Boyle have the pace and trickery to start a counter as quickly as possible which means that other teams can't commit too many people forward.

The improvement is all over the pitch and it manifests itself in clean sheets and wins.

It's amazing what a few positive results can do!

In all seriousness though, we've won 3 on the bounce, all with clean sheets and that's without Stokes and McGregor.

The defence has clearly improved massively and cut out all of the mistakes but I think the balance and the shape of the team is massively improved.

Rather than shoehorning players into positions they are not suited for (Whittaker at left back, Slivka on the right of midfield) we've got players in the right positions and a consistent, balanced 11.

We've also got our fair share of the luck after frustrating games like the draw with Dundee and loss to Aberdeen where we should have a taken more.

How many years is that since we last won 3 games in a row in top flight

Or 3 wins and 3 clean sheets? Maybe never?

Has a look into it. Last time was season 2005/2006.

3-0 Livingston
0-2 Falkirk
0-3 Rangers

However, just winning three in a row happens most seasons.

Charmed life tonight to be fair but we could have had another couple too.

We seem better at sitting on a lead and have stopped gifting late goals to opposition. Lennon 's influence paying dividends.

No points for hitting the goal frame. :greengrin

But I'd agree the score flattered us a bit. Still - neither SEVCO not Celtic beat them, and I'd suggest that if they continue to play as they did last night, they won't be relegated.

Sunday would be a good time for their luck to change.

Big game for them on Sunday, an early relegation battle I fear

odds of 14/1 available for Killie to win 1-0 at Murrayfield...might be worth a wee flutter.

Guy in front of me last night kept shouting at Efe, calling him a 'bombscare'. The guy's has been superb for weeks now. He's parctically smoking a pipe through the games. Some folk really need to get a grip and stop listening to Jambos!

Efe is not a bombscare, more of an explosion of unexpected eccentricity.

Sol Bamba now he was a bombscare...

It is coincidence. It isn't like our record was all clean sheets before Rocky went out. In fact our first clean sheet in the league was against Ross County with Laidlaw in goal.

I think the fact that Lennon has been full of praise for the whole team's performance of late is a more telling indicator as to why we're getting the results we are.

In fairness Rocky's not had much to do the past couple of games but was kept more than busy last night and pulled of some brilliant saves, great to see.

The last three clean sheets included Rangers.

Doesn't count. They were so busy defending themselves from the hooligan Hibs supporters that they had to give the impression that they were wee poor innocents fed to the wolves.

Jim Traynor said so.
