Anyone done the SXSW festival in Austin Texas before? Persuaded the wife to go next year as on my bucket list. So looking into the logistics and availability now.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated. Is it similar in set up to the Fringe with venues dotted all over the town? It sounds like a bit of a nightmare getting home at night as apparently the taxi service isn’t anywhere near big enough to meet the demand.

Was there in 1995, it's a good festival (i guess it has grown loads since then) I have a friend in Austin and a couple of others in Texas. I'll see if they can give you pointers and maybe contact you by email :aok:
