His name came up on the Griffiths/Stanton thread a couple of days ago then this appears in the Hootsmon - it's a decent read.

That's a very good read. Hadn't realised that Paul McGrillen was dead.

I once played against Cornbank boys club against him. I those days it was a centre half and a sweeper. Not them. He did both. Quite literally head and shoulder length above.

I always liked Craig met him a few times and he always comes across as a good guy.

I remember it from the time, pretty tragic story.

That article is a really good read. Some good insight into a few characters in Scottish football.

That was a good read. I always assumed he left us purely for the money. A really good centre half and a good pundit too.
