He had a scan this afternoon, wont know the results til tomorrow but looking very doubtful. If it comes back and it’s just a bad knock or maybe bruising then he might be able to play with an injection but he thinks it could be damage to the ligament. Fingers crossed it’s not!

Would be a blow not to have both as options but Swanson hasn't been playing that much so less of a miss but with Big Dave out of favour and Murray not being picked more recently Stokes absence would be a blow

Stokes didn't seem massively interested in getting involved for large parts of the 2nd half, perhaps this explains that. I hope to God that whomever plays up top, there's 2 of them.

I have visions of Hearts hammer throwers booting Stokes up in the air early doors and then him spending the rest of the game trying to do damage from the left wing, leaving us with no central focal point.

All the players starting tonight will have to be 100% fit and raring to go. Don't fool yourself into thinking a Levein team will permit an actual football game to break out - this will be close either way.

Having said that, I rate our team a lot higher than theirs even without Stokesy... so would still fancy us to get it done.
