Totally agree. Thought Forrest did ok on Thursday whereas Phillips had a really poor game. Strachan usually favours English based players where he has an option.

My take on it is that we're playing deep to invite them out and create space.

They don't concede many so pressing hugh and pushing them back could actually make it harder to score.

Strachan has overseen an amazing revival in the last few games but this is back to the rubbish Scotland we saw before March.

How he's let it get to us going 2-1 down with 16 minutes to go before making a change is baffling.

Martin should never have gone off and as soon as the equaliser went he then he should have called on the bench.
