Attempting to bring together a few mates for the game tonight who come from different sides of Edinburgh.

Where's a good central Edinburgh pub for football?. I know good pubs for boozing but not so sure for football watching.

If i was going "intae the toon" tae watch the game ,Scotts Bar ( known as Ma Scotts) at the West End of Rose Street would be an option.
Not expensive either.
Its no a big boozer, though. I would be getting there early for a seat.

On the Jinglin Geordie,it is down Fleshmarket Close between Cockburn Street and Market Street.

Known back in the day as The Suburban Bar

Its awfy dear in there !!

Queens Arms is usually good for games. Great selection of beers too.

Pear Tree up by George Square, no a great boozer to be fair, but the new big screen they've put up outside is class. Caught a bit of the awakes game there the other night. Great picture on a massive screen.

Beer and skittles
East end of Edinburgh, near the Omni centre, lots of screens and screens outside too

For the sake of atmosphere and central location the three sisters would be good

The Globe on Niddrie St

Not bad £3 for a pint of lager but quite a depressing pub. Plus hard to get wi-fi or connect with your mobile data if you can't go without Facebook etc for a couple of hours.

That's my usual place but it's likely to be rammed and apart from the screens at the front the other ones are in awkward places.

In Platform 5 now.
