Where's everybody going for a pre-match drink?

As we're in the West this time, we're kinda spoiled for choice.

I'll be in The Clockwork, on Cathcart Road. Nice wee pub, with a Beer Garden out the back.

Doesn't open until 11, so you won't get long in the clockwork brewery.

Don't worry, a couple of drinks is my limit on match days.

The Mad Dash Arms!!

Of course in previous early kick offs at Easter Road West, many fans went to surrounding social/bowling clubs for an early peeve.
Some serve at 10am
(or earlier,if no one is looking!)
There are a number of bowling clubs in the Hampden area.
Am sure a number of supporters buses are already booked in at these places.

Unfortunately, i wont be able to attend the game.
So its The Clerry Inn for me at 11am ish !!

Most are on the east side though.

Living in Mt Florida, my local knowledge would be to recommend Clockworks or Church on the Hill for convenience. Allison Arms is next to Queens Park Station (3 mins on the train or a 15 min walk to Hampden) and is a cracking boozer.

Anybody know what channel is showing the game, need to book a TV in my local as I think it might clash with Man U v Liverpool game.

Trust me, there are loads of pubs on offer for anybody approaching from the west side.

Have a search online for pubs in Cathcart Road, Victoria Road/Allison Street, Battlefield Road (the area just to the south of Queens Park) and, slightly further afield, Pollokshaws Road.

The place is hoachin wi pubs

Sorry. Was talking more about the bowling clubs. Rutherglen is full of them. We have been to the same club for our last three trips but giving it a miss this time.

It’ll literally be a quick one before the match in the train station or something.

Afterward there’ll be plenty of time.

I've heard the Louden Tavern is decent.

Another vote for The Allison Arms from me, a fine range of bottled foreign/craft beers to be had.

Think that you mean it is a descent.
