Any tips for pubs in Glasgow for before the game tomorrow?

Have been told there are a few good pubs in Merchant City and to head there but how easy and quick will it then be to get to Parkhead?

I'd recommend West on the Green, bar for the West brewery. 20 min walk to Parkhead, indoor and outdoor seating, and brilliant drinks. Probably minimal dafties too.

If you're at Merchant City, you can catch the 64 bus (almost) to Celtc Park from the High Street. Takes 15-20 minutes, but you have to walk the last part.

Is that the one that used to be a German Pub?

If so, I'd second the recommendation, in light of the lassies that served behind the bar

Bars around merchant city/square are full of celtic fans on match days as well.

Drygate Brewing. Just off Duke St at Tennents Brewery. Cool wee place I visited last year. Does good food and loads of obscure beers. Walking distance to parkhead.

Merchant City to parkhead about 30mins walk. West brewery is good and priced indeed to keep the "riff raff" out. Bar Home, Oneills and Blackfriars all good pubs to use in Merchant but will likely be full of Celtic fans as well. As stated drygate on Duke stis not bad.

Drygate, West, St Luke's & Redmonds are all cool and friendly bars to the east of the city centre, not typical football venues, if there is such a thing. Not a TV to be seen, which is my preference but won't be everyone's cup of tea. There is certainly no shortage of pubs in Glasgow, so something to suit all tastes.

Met a few Hibbees in Del Monicas after the 2001 defeat!

I'll be sailing a potato down the river Clyde before the match, as I do annually at this time of year 😀

A few around Queen Street station, remember that the entrance onto George Square is currently shut for redevelopment, the exit o Dundas Street (will take you out to Dows bar and Buchanan Street Subway entrance) the wee lane to Buchanan Street has a Ladbrokes on it, Queen Street itself (heading down from George Square) has a Coral at the top and Hills towards the bottom, hope this helps mate :agree:
