On my phone so can't post the above link properly but Hibs have had the joint 73rd most possession in Europe this season, tied with Inter Milan!

I notice Brentford are not far behind us as and they sit 20th in the Championship. Hopefully we can strt turning possession into goals..

We must be pretty high on the list of attempts at goal. Pretty sure we were number 1 in scotland a few weeks ago. Poor conversion rate though.

The only three stats that matter in the end are goals scored, goals conceded and points gained .... everything else is window dressing.

True, Celtic are top of the possession list but look what happened when they played PSG!

Still, it's always nice to see us mentioned in the same sentence as Inter Milan!

A high percentage of possession means nothing if it doesn't relate to the number of goals scored and conceded.


We had a game a few years back against Hearts where we had 82%(?) possession, but the final score was still only 1-0. We've have loads of games in the last few years where we had the majority of possession but still either drew or lost.

This is outdated but as of the 17th of September Only Aberdeen (90) and Celtic (120) had more shots than us (88). Rangers a close 4th with (87)
