View Full Version : Trump and Kim Call each other mad

I think this may be my favourite ever news headline on the BBC news front page.

You're mad

No, you're mad.

No I'm not, you're mad.

The total state of the pair of them.

The more this has went on, the more I'm actually siding with Kim.

When Trump uses a word like dotard, I might reconsider.

Only a mad man would side with Kim.

All this talk about making the other "pay the price". Anyone else see the flaw in that argumentation?

It would be lovely if Trump and Kim could wipe each other out without harming anyone else.

Pair of total f*****g idiots.

He actually called him a nuldaree michi-gwangee. Which directly translates as 'a hobbling old psycho'. But 'dotard' is a reasonable translation :cool2:

I’m beginning to wonder what the consequences will be if they try to blow one another up.

It would rather depend on Putin, Xing and the Europeans not wanting to engage in mutually assured destruction and hanging around to mop up afterwards.

Maybe a Corbyn in number 10 doesn’t look that bad after all.

Its only when nuclear holocaust becomes more likely that you start to realise that a policy of being anti-war, as opposed to pro-war, isn't as loony as we are always told. But Nick Lowe said it better than me.

If they called each other mad it's probably the most honest thing either has ever said.

I pick myself up off the ground to have you knock me back down again and again?

If you think Trump is mad what about the lunatics that put him in office.

More media manipulation by Trump?

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/sep/28/otto-warmbier-torture-north-korea-coroner

Made sure he got his version out before the official line.

As Churchill said, a lie can be half way round the world before the truth has even got its trousers on.

I don't think Trump does media manipulation - that would be too subtle. It's more like an unrelenting barrage of whatever comes into his head. Even his media people struggle to contain him.

Regardless of whether this guy was either tortured or just treated very badly (I note the coroner couldn't carry out an autopsy because access to the body was denied) North Korea is clearly a very horrible place and its leaders want some serious and irreversible karma.

This guy was arrested, locked up for 17 months with a 15 year hard labour sentence - for trying to steal a poster in a hotel - and only released when he entered a coma. A cynic might think the reason for the release was so that he wouldn't die in in North Korean hands.

This is how they treat a dumb visiting student, imagine how they treat their own people.

agree with all that ODS :agree:, but just to be clear the Coroner did have access to the body, they did CAT scans etc, it was just they were denied the option to do anything "invasive"

Edit: or at least that's how I read it

That's correct. Not sure how definitive an autopsy it can be without the invasive part.

They can scan the body now and carry out the post mortem in a special hologram room. I saw it on CSI.
