Not a surprise but I was hoping for the Saturday morning rather than Sunday. I prefer to go pre hangover rather than post.

TV companies can only go to Ibrox and Celtic Park four times, two each are Old Firm games, hence just other games can be picked. Every other club is six times at home on TV.

To change the amount of TV games shown at grounds, it is an 11-1 vote required by the Scottish Premiership clubs, we know what teams will block it.

A whole spfl card in midweek, in the middle of December... Ridiculous another one I'll struggle to get to, wife works in Glasgow and kids are at school 😣

Will be in Aberdeen for weekend of game, and suspected there could be a possibility of TV rescheduling. 12.30 on a Saturday is more favourable than the Sunday and just a departure time a couple of hours earlier. The others were always going to be televised.

Traditionally the lowest crowds at this time too, pre xmas
Must because we have a 3 year week shutdown in January

Celtic play every other week in the Champions League coupled with Internationals not finished and league Cup Semis being played over the weekend now make it (somewhat) sensible. I'm sure we used to start the season with a couple of midweek games.

Would be struggling for the Shelic & Aberdeen games ,the yams will be a ticket scramble so I'm happy with those being shown

Not disagreeing with winter break, just thought pre xmas is not the time for midweek games

Common sense would say before the end of October or after the end of February for midweek games.

To be honest, i'd rather it was that time, than 3pm, at that time of the year. Might get 1/2 down the road in the light

Do they not still have that stupid rule where they are contractually not allowed to show from either of their grounds?
I know it used tobe in place but not sure about now.

Would make sense of the fact every away Celtic game seems tobe on.

Bit of a random question but does anyone know approximately how many tickets we get for Aberdeen away? Just wondering if we'd sell that out.

If we can tuck away a nice winning streak between now and then, then maybe, just maybe?

The away end holds about 2500. To fill that for a lunch time game that's on telly is a near impossible task, regardless of the results between now and then

Hoping my step daughter still living in Aberdeen then. She's 5 minutes from the ground. Go up Friday. Long lie Saturday and roll to the game...

Aberdeen away on a half 12 kick off, what a total shambles.

Don't see the huge issue with it being half 12? Only two and a bit hours earlier, roads will be quieter and 10x easier to get back down at 3pm than 6pm might even get the majority done in day light. I'd hazard a guess at saying people claiming they'll "give it a miss now" were never going to go

Agreed. We will hopefully get the train up which means more time for bevvy after game.

Sunday, Wednesday evening and then Saturday early KO away to Aberdeen. Whomever dreamt up that triple whammy of scheduling should be shot.

:agree: What's more, I just don't get why the fixtures come out the way they do, i.e. why is it Hibs have to play four away fixtures in five.

Dundee A
St J A
M'well H
Ross C A
Celtic A

No doubt someone will know the answer. I'm not saying Hibs are the only club impacted in this way. It just seems daft, but maybe I'm missing something?

When you look at the fixtures in December, we will need to be firing on all cylinders to come away with a decent points tally!!!!
