Whittaker is not a left back and offers nothing defensively. He's good going forward but we have a midfield for that. Stevenson needs to go back in ASAP.

There seems to be a perception that Whittaker is the cause of all our woes. He wasn't great today but who in defence was? They all looked pretty shaky. Apart from a daft penalty against Dundee can anyone point me to when he's lost a goal for us?

Plus he scored on the opening day and has at least one assist (set up Stokes versus Dundee).

Lewis will do fine if he comes in as usual but the team isn't set up right at the moment. We barely won a header all day and couldn't keep hold of the ball.

No chance the goal last week was his fault. He had no choice but to go to the man at the front post.

He was garbage today though.
