Arsenal game delayed ko, now due to be 9:05pm.
Up to 20,000 cologne fans without tickets in the vicinity of the stadium 😮

Love it, my mates were so convinced their signing spree would suddenly elevate them to top four.

Officially 3000 but many will get tickets for tonights game. English clubs seem to have a pretty dim view of the Europa league which Ive always found strange, contrary to how most of Europe sees it. I believe its Colognes first venture into Europe for over 20 years and they have gone ape over it. Good luck to them and I hope many of their fans get tickets for the game. If Arsenal put out a much changed team as is being reported I have they get hammered, I know its up to each club to field a team they see fit but it spoils the integrity of the tournament a little for me if they treat it with such disrespect. Clubs like ours would love a run in the Europa cup.

Twenty thousand from Germany for a Europa League group game is amazing support. Fair play to them.

I think a club outside the old firm getting into the group stages of the europa would be up there with winning a cup tbh. Would be a great achievement.

Atalanta were as good as Everton were bad. Proper good team, built and maintained on a shoestring budget.

Should have been 6 or 7.

They want the chairman to spend some money on players, basically. Losing their last two games 6-1 and 3-1 hasn't helped either :-)

I liked this by Barney Ronay about the Arsenal game... 'Many English grounds must seem bafflingly silent, colourless places to European fans raised on the idea of an English terrace culture. Sorry, chaps, but we sold that off a while back. And please, remember to exit via the gift shop'.

And one of italian footballs best youth academys .producing regular young talent for the first team .beating everton ain't no big deal, only to the deluded "best league in the world" buy success via sky cash types.

Seems, roughly16 years ago, a few Köln fans - Janus Fröhlich in particular - bought a CD by Runrig with Loch Lomond on it - they loved the song and put together some lyrics for FC Köln - "Ihrefeld, Radertal, Nippes, Poll, Esch, Pesch un Kalk, üvverall jitt et Fans vum FC Kölle ... and so on" - Runrig are to blame - sort of :greengrin
