A well-timed initiative judging by the reaction in the EBT announcement thread.

That's what they need, you making light of it.

I'm as ragin as the next guy about the statement yesterday.

This statement however is a very timely reminder of the good the game has the potential to do. Bravo, Hibs! Outstanding!

It's seems to be a fantastic initiative.

Hopefully that can be acknowledged without the Rangers saga getting dragged in.

"the biggest group at risk being men in their forties and early fifties"

That was an eye-opener for me, and while I can think of one or two reasons why that might be I would have thought that younger men would be higher.

Anyway, good for Hibs.

Brilliant initiative. As someone with MH issues and personal experience of family suicide I welcome it.

Good on you for being so open!! This type of topic used to be whispered about for why I don't know, but it has to change. It's no different from having a physical illness. I'm in the same boat as you, and tragically my brother lost his life through depression last week. A Hibs fan who went to many a European game and some on here must know him after reading the threads about the trips to Videoton, Anderlecht and Liege. RIP bro.

Sincere condolences to you and your family. MH is a very real issue and the more of us who say so can only help.

RIP. A hugely worthwhile initiative.
