Always thought we shouldve joined up with a local brewery and get a cup final beer brewed. Thought that would've sold like crazy. I know three breweries from Newcastle Huddersfield and Brighton collaborated to brew a beer to celebrate the teams getting promoted

I mentioned about doing a Cup Final beer at the time but it was suggested for some reason I can't remember that it wasn't on. This surprised me as my late brother gave me a bottle of beer brewed I think by Stewart's for something Hearts won a few years ago. It had their badge on the label but remains in the shed to this day unopened.

Even if the shop is unlicensed it could be sold in the Gallery etc and by whichever lucky brewery gets the gig.

I think the club should market a range of Hi-beers (copyright The Pointer) in any case.

Leith Heavy's been done before but you could have  :

Down the Slope
West Stand IPA
Famous 5 (5% abv)
George Street 2 a.m.
21st May 2016 Celebration Ale
Gorgie Sour Beer

Maybe I'm a Muggle but Gin is just nasty. I could wear my Hibs top and drink Chardonnay though. That sounds splendid.....

I contacted the club about a whisky to commemorate the final win as a client of mine works in the industry, It would have been a limited bottle run of 92 all bottled and labelled in Leith but got no response.
