Great effort so far! Is that about 2,000 so far then?

Somebody asked yesterday about free kids tickets online and I see that's been answered

"...these are now only available when purchasing in person from the Hibernian Ticket Office."

Very close to 2000 - hopefully we can fill all sections and get a big 3 points!

Looking forward to a return to McDairmid Park - after three years of Championship away days to some retro grounds, the novelty soon wore off. Good to get familiar again with the top flight venues, and St Johnstone is an easy accessed trip and a decent ground.

No tickets left at Easter Road, only way to get a ticket now is pay at the gate.

That's a bit risky, isn't it. Be crap to go all the way up there and not even get in.

I have a feeling there's going to be a few Hibbies in the home end.

Has there been an announcement that there were no tickets left? I just wasted my time going down there.
I will take my chances and just try and pay at the gate. It's quite annoying tbh, I could've just got them online earlier in the week, but the free under 12 tickets weren't available online. I'm now going to have to pay for a child ticket anyway as there won't be any free under 12 tickets available at the stadium.

I'm going to guess Zero.

St Johnstone have used an innovative design, whereby they actually put the seats IN the stands, instead of behind them.

It's sad that tickets have to be issued for tomorrow's game. We all know that the stadium will be far from filled to capacity yet here we are scrambling for tickets.

It seems to me that someone has underestimated the amount of fans we are going to take up there.
the stadium will probably be less than half full, but I can't get a ticket. I won't be wearing any colours tomorrow in case I need to go in the home end. There's no way I'm going to drive all the way up there for nothing.

I think that must've been for the stand behind the goals. I only found out I could go on Wednesday and by that time the west stand was all that was available. If I'd known I couldn't have got a ticket today, I would've just bought them online then.

One things for sure, the 900 Parkhead allocation will go in a flash. Take away the away ST's and players comps and there won't be much left to sell. I wonder if we will see online only for that one?

I'm going up in the car with the family, so I should be there pretty early, but I can see a few hibs fans ending up in the home end. This is the first chance for many to see us away from home this season after ibrox(limited tickets) and dens park(early Sunday kick off)

Yeah - expecting the new bridge to be busy with people having a day out to visit it etc!

Tip would be to arrive early !

Good call Greenlex. I went over to Dunfermline late morning, it wasn't too bad. Can back the other way in the afternoon, and was delayed about 30 min, and the traffic going North was horrendous, far worse than on the old bridge

Away end if possible but home if necessary. :dunno:

The capacity is just under 11000 so yeah I would say about 6000 will be there today.

Just had a quick look at last season's attendances and they seem pretty poor, even against the larger clubs. The largest league attendance was at Christmas against Der Hun, 7,979. They had less than 7k against Celtc.

I presume they no longer give two full stands to Celtc & The Rangers.
