Does anybody believe anything that's reported by the Press these days?
All newspapers appear to have thrown away all ethics (if some ever had any the first place) in favour of, not just sensationalism, but blatant political propaganda.
While the internet can be just as bad, I think people are a bit more sceptical with what they read online.
The TV media deserves a thread of its own, so we'll leave them for another time.

I was going to say that I've become more angry at the right wing press as I've got older, but I'll replace it with amused. I love their desperate attempts to convince people that people on benefits (the ones with nothing) are the ones who are stealing our wealth and getting more money than they deserve. They'll also try any tactic to stop poor people to seeing the light and voting for Labour, pushing a middle class conservative dream or attaching themselves to Nationalists through gritted teeth.
People are idiots though, and often fall into their trap. Instead of caring about their sky-high rent and crap job, they'll moan about how Jeremy Corbyn "Hates the armeh" and "loves the IRA" because the Sun is their main source of information and opinions.
I can see them dying a slow death though as the new age of digital news dawns. Can't come soon enough.
