Bit disappointing, think we're still light in attack. But we've kept McGinn and hopefully Commons will come in so all good.

OK. Tonight it was fresh pasta with homemade pesto (the last of the basil from the garden) with loads of parmesan. I swiftly redressed the quality balance with a supermarket own-brand caramel cornetto thing. Tonight I'll be diving into my daughters' 4 o'clock snack stash - madeleines (wee sponge cake things) and assorted biscuits. I'll have to send them to bed before I can start though.

I also have a few different local beers in stock, although it may turn a bit spectacular with my pain killers.

Bring it on.Am surprised by beer bit . I spent 3 or 4 days in St Malo a few years ago and remember that local cider ( excellent ) seemed to be far more popular than any beer . In some restaurants there only seemed to be cider to wash down crepes and galettes (? ) . Lovely place and area with very friendly people .
Apologies for non football post especially on last day of window .

So when she says "No more business EXPECTED"........she's saying there's still a chance?

To be fair she can't rule out that someone sticks a bid in of 20 million for McGinn.... she'd have to reject and ask for 25

Has SSN completely abandoned even doing live reporting from Scotland now. Not seen one report apart from the news bar. Disgrace the amount of money they take in subscriptions from Scotland and have all but dropped us these days. Obscene English football transfer market that they had a huge hand in.

There's really nothing of interest happening in Scotland. Cancel your Sky sub and watch something else if it ain't fun watching. :greengrin

I presume she made the statement now because they don't expect or would not entertain another bid for McGinn at this stage. It would also appear that the interest in Henderson was off the mark or you would think they would have tried for a result beyond 8.45.

The interest in Henderson only appears to have had one source.

Leeann Dempster has just tweeted suggesting we are done for this window. Close thread. It's over, guys. It's over.

she's ran out of scran early doors. schoolboy error.
or she's also disappointed with natalies attire.

It's fun but annoying that they can't even have any live updates or reports as they used to, neither wonder our league is in the backwaters these days. Surely the Scottish subscribers deserve some sort of reporter to update every so often. Cancelling subscription is never far from my mind these days, I probably won't do it though!

Bit disappointing, think we're still light in attack. But we've kept McGinn and hopefully Commons will come in so all good.

Agree but club could argue we have
Stokes, Ginja, Davy, Boyler, Shaw who can all play up front and the likes of Swanson, Barker and Fraser Murray who can play just off a main striker.

Don't get me wrong I would definitely take the likes of Moult if this was possible.

Re Hendo maybe this was being pursued if SJM moved but Leeann has tweeted as SJM is staying so chase for Hendo no longer required

Apologies for non football post especially on last day of window .For many living in the Breton countryside, there was more cider (normally home made) to hand than fresh water - my wife's grandparents drunk nothing but cider or coffee.

It's therefore traditional to drink cider (served in cups) with galettes/crêpes. However beer is far more popular than cider in pubs, etc.

When I spoke about local beers, I've got some Coreff, from Morlaix, which is a couple of hours away and some St Erwann, made by Britt, which is from the same area IIRC.

Sent from my iPhone using Forum RunnerStill time for signings and departures tonight but would suppose our scouts are already looking for January signings especially for forwards since there are question marks about all 5 you mention . Will Stokes regain previous level ? Will Ginja ( is that a recognised name for him ? ) improve enough to make a mark ? Will Davy make meaningful contribution ? Boyle was useless as a striker in championship so unlikely to be any better in a higher division and Shaw is still young so I`d assume signing of at least 1 striker is already a priority for January whereever we are in league .

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh,

Warburton's a fanny,
He wears a flaps chapeau,
He tried to sign McGinn,
Rod told him where to go,
He'd tried the same with Allan,
But also f****d that up,
Delivered Dyl and Hendo,
And Hibs the Scottish Cup.

Hopefully walker will still be at the yams after midnight. Means they have an unmotivated player for the season who they could have got £600k for. Is having Jamie Walker for a year worth £600k? I'd like to think if we had that much to spend on a player for one season, we could get better than Walker.

I said this earlier. I wanted Hearts to keep him because he's desperate to leave. He'll be in and out of the starting line up, "injured" half the time and when he's playing he probably won't try a leg - as they've accused him of already this season. The fact they could have got a half decent wedge for a player that's going to offer that to them but didn't is... how should I put it... pleasing?

Sounds like he was agitating for the move and took the huff and forced through the move to Luton, who are still in League 2!? Can league two teams now offer more cash than we can?! Or did he just not fancy the move all the way North to Edinburgh?
