View Full Version : Guess the actual attendance v Hamilton

There's a difference between a sell out and a full house, and while we might completely sell out the 3 home stands, there will definitely be empty seats because of folk having other commitments. However, Hibs will have received the cash so it's all good.
There were 18031 at Easter Road the last time we played Hamilton, we don't need to dwell on that game, but we won't get close to that figure tomorrow.
So, how many do you think will actually be at tomorrow's game.
I think there will be less that 16000 so my guess is 15875.

Maybe they could resurrect this but with the closet to the attendance.......come on admins we need some competitions to win :agree:

So are we guessing bums on seats or tickets sold?
I agree that we declare tickets sold and will not know actual attendance although someone said police have that info?
Tickets sold I'll say 17,105

Was down on Thursday for my tickets and were no two seats together in the famous five the east only the far end away and looked about 80 left, main stand looked pretty well sold out but there was no sign of them openeing some of the away end. Being generous and think hamilton will bring 400-500 so I would say 17.000

Pretty sure they never against the game against Patrick thistle. What was the official attendance, 17k and odds? All the home ends were sold out and there's no danger there were over 3k empty seats in the south

If there's only a handful of seats left in the home end does that not mean we've sold around 16000 assuming 500 for corporate not sold? Not sure it can possibly be as low as 15000?

Plenty of season ticket holders dont turn up for any given game, especially in August and especially those with kids tickets in the lower FF. I understand its something like 10% of season ticket holders are absent every match on average (thats a national average not just a Hibs average)

Think the 16,000 includes around 1,000 hospitality seats, that are unlikely to be full

Bet there will be plenty empty seats in th FF lower.

Each ticket or seat is only counted once. Once its handed back its offically unsold again and then sold when someone else buys it.

Im not sure the three home stands were sold out. I think there were singles scattered all over the place and the south was less than half full. Bottom tier not full and top tear nearly empty. Then I believe hospitality tickets are included in the capacity (no idea how many of those were sold).

There were no seats available except the south, which holds 3800, minus 1200 or so Partick fans and 400 hibs fans that leaves 2200 spares. Not sure how that tally's up with the attendance but my figures may be off

Ok, forgot about the posh seats right enough 😀 I was just going on that all the stands were red apart from the south which was about a third full? At the end of the day who cares? 😂 Just grateful that I can attend which has not always been the case 👍

Aye like you say it doesnt really matter does it. Its good to be discussing how full Easter Road is as oppose to wondering where our next point or goal might be coming from. I cant make tomorrow (Motherwell my next game) give 'em a shout for me Ive got a nerve wracking hour or so waiting for scores on Sky Sports.
