I know some fans who were not too enamoured at Lennon's appointment, and might fall into the category of fan heretoday suggests, but I know a lot more who embraced the appointment and were behind Lennon 100%.

A number of players have dedicated songs. Why not the manager?
Many previous managers have had a chant/song. Even the clown who got us relegated.

I just think that when the team walks onto the pitch the "Hibees" chant is the best thing by far for it. Some people are way over defensive on here.

This will be the very first opportunity we will have to show our collective support since Saturday. Neil Lennon has been at the epicentre of all the nonsense that followed our victory and he even suffered death threats. For the massed ranks of hibees to show the clearest solidarity and support for him when he walks out is what he deserves. It's bound to give him a much deserved boost and will obviously lift the team too. I really don't so the difficulty with this.

This is just not about Neil.
Its about Hibernian Football Club,us as supporters and our standing and reputation in the game.
The propaganda and the lies from Ibrox directed at our club started the minute the final whistle went at the Cup Final.
Fabricated stories from level five reporting many rAngers players assaulted were printed online before David had even lifted the cup.. and it has not stopped since.

The "statement" from 18-72 this week is a continuation of that.

Defend our club, Defend our manager.

There is room for all the chants /songs - I agree there's only one Neil Lennon" should be when the players are out onto the pitch and Lennon is coming out the tunnel. The "NL's green n white army" will be a frequent.chant throughout the game and the request from the fans for." Lenny Lenny cup your ears " is a brilliant bit of humour and shows the link between the fans and manager...they all add to being part of enjoying and showing we appreciate and love what he is doing at our club and enhance the matchday experience ...
