:boo hoo: Suddenly I feel the need to go to a Cathedral to pay penance to the great man, the likes Hibbies will never see again. It's a cathastrophy.

Maybe we can get him to do the Happy Hibee half-time draw at the derby?

His tactical genius, in combination with the roll neck jumper and suit jaikit combination, mark him out as a truly remarkable man. His sacking was a disgrace and will take some getting over.

I truly admired the shirt and tie underneath this sartorial splendour... reminded me of my maths teacher.

Gone... but NEVER forgotten! :not worth

It's a tragedy he and Hearts are no longer together, never have I seen such a perfect blend - however I still have faith that Ian's good work will NOT be in vain and that he did enough to see them relegated this season.

his legend will linger on, certainly amongst the Hibernian family. we will miss his forthright aftermatch comments, his guile and prophesy for the future of gorgie but he has indeed installed a believe that they will stuggle to remain in this league. God bless him

Maybe he can come to ER and give us all a talk on tactics and football game strategy, I'm sure we would al pay £15 to hear all he has to say

He's left it a bit late for a Fringe comedy listing this year...

Wonderful! Does his spirit not pass on to the next chosen one?
