View Full Version : Hibs to win the league - bet

So at the start of the season I put a £5.25 on Hibs to win the league at 500-1 with Sky Bet. The odds are now 100-1 and I can cash out my bet for £24.74 - a profit of £19.49.

I don't think we will win the league and would like to cash out with the maximum profit possible. Any advice on how long I should keep going for?

If we do win the league, hopefully the joy will alleviate the pain of missing out on £2625.

Anybody else have similar bets?

Clean your mouth out. Paddy Power are already paying out on us winning it :)

No great advice but at least wait until we win our next 2 games ;) might be down to 66/1 or even 50/1.

Or let it ride :greengrin

Depends how much you need the cash (if you're putting £5 on us to win the league I can't see cash being a problem). If you think we'll beat Hamilton and Dundee let it ride for a couple of weeks and hopefully make a £30/40 profit.

It'll go up and down depending on results I would wait till after Hamilton at home at least, Good chance you'll get a little more return on your cashout.(especially if Celtic,Aberdeen slip up for example)

...after that we are Away to Dundee then St Johnstone, You take your chances :greengrin

If we can keep our best XI fit (within reason), the gulf between us and the rest is smaller than Leicester's was.......

I strongly fancy us to win on Saturday, that should increase the cash out a little more. Cash out after that.

I backed us to win the league without Celtic at 22/1. And backed Simon Murray each way to finish top scorer at 66/1. I'll be letting them ride all season...

****** it, let it ride and enjoy it. We're going to do well this season.

Got £10 on with sky bet at 500s (some places were as low as 100)

I'm letting it run.

I put 10 quid on a double for Hibs to beat Rangers in that game there and to go and lift the league cup. £1300 back if we do lift the cup. Current cash out option is at £140.

If Celtic get an extended Champion's League run it's not too ridiculous to think we could run them close-ish - same with Aberdeen and possibly Rankjers if they get rid of Pedro. If Celtic are focusing solely on domestic games they'll run away with it.

If Leicester can win the EPL...

Bet365 have Murray at 50/1 to be the league top scorer. Same as Goncalves. :tee hee:

Last game of the season, we're playing Rangers and if we beat them we've won the league. Draw or lose and Celtic win. The zombies wouldn't know what to do with themselves.

I registered with Skybet to stick £20 on Hibs at 500-1.

Already made almost £50 betting on Hibs with the £10 free bet. Happy days.

Hibs and Celtic joint top of the league. The conspiracies would make for glorious reading.

I was hoping Aberdeen would make the group stages for the Europa as it would probably have left them hanging for the league.

Celtic are in a different league to anyone else in the country.

I think we'll be there or thereabouts for 2nd place. We have no chance of winning the league.

I went to put £5 on us at 500/1 as I had seen it on the Friday night before the season started, Hearts v Celtic had kicked off though so selection was suspended. Went back on after we had beat Partick and it was already halfed to 250/1 [emoji21] Stuck a tenner on to cover myself just in case we did the incredible. Current cash out of £24 but I'm going to let it ride all season. Imagine winning the league and knowing you had traded £2,500 for £14 back in August [emoji51]

Rangers are mince and they've shot their financial bolt (probably with the assumption they'd get to the Europa League group stages). Even if they get rid of Pedro and get someone else in they can't afford to buy a new team.

I've been a Hibs supporter too long to entertain such thoughts two games into the season.

We wont win the league or get close to it but i'd say there is a good chance we will win our next 2 games by which time the cashout will have increased.

While I'm very hopeful that Simon Murray will have a great season, I very much doubt he'll finish top scorer.

He's currently second top alongside Goncalves, Griffiths and Dorrans, all of whom have scored twice.

Michael O'Halloran is top with 3.

Hibs now at 80/1 with Sky Bet. My £5.25 at 500/1 can be cashed out for £30.85... tempting but I think I may give it til after the saints game.

Hearts at 1000/1 btw.

I think you only get cash out offers on outright singles, rather than accas.

I put a tenner on at the beginning of season (bet slip added below) but bloody got only 150/1 at bet victor - cannot remember if it was a free bet because at the time I was doing the Matched Betting - it will not let me cash out so I think it was a free bet I had, but what sh***y odds I got.
I should have done E/W because I think that there is definite possibility of second

Cash out doesn't cover my stake at the moment .
