So why is it not in on the telly?

IMHO it's down to the TV companies having no understanding of our game. Due to the quota of only allowing a certain amount of live televised games from one stadium a season they could never imagine a game ibrox could be so interesting this early in season.

Because they know what will be sung and the inevitable violence in the stands and potentially on the field.

They rarely show the old firm at home. A couple of exceptions being the old firm derby and like last week the opening game of the Scottish champions. Also european matches but thats it.

Because they're too embarrassed to show that refereeing performance on TV.

Glad it's not on tv. Means the fans don't get ****ed over with stupid kick off times.

:agree:

Derek Rae who used to be on BT Sport explained it on twitter yesterday. There's an agreement to show 4 Celtic/Rangers home games during the course of the season. Other teams have 6 games,

It probably goes back to when showing ALL old firm away games and not home.
Its not completely like that these days.....but guaranteed they are only allowed to show so many home games,to not affect their revenue stream.

And there will be no agreement on any other teams in the league of course.

And why is this acceptable to SPFL, who are meant to represent all clubs? Who voted to allow that possible disparity of income for home games?
