View Full Version : We have a problem, Houston...

Should the helpless and hapless Cathro go - maybe that should be when not if he goes - will the notorious Hibs-hating PH now at Falkirk be called back to save the sinking ship and import cluggers to kick opponents off the park as in days of yore? Rumblings already about Levein being posted missing in the aftermath of his puppet's latest disaster. How great it is to be a Hibbie these days...

I don't think Houston could cope with the dramatic reduction in budget. We know how he loves a whinge about budgets.

I'm sure I read that Houston and Levein don't get on at all

I'd be surprised if he took the job

Surely if Cathro goes, Levein has to be away too. Levein is overseeing this regime that is failing.

Levein is married so seems strange that Houston would raise questions over his fiancée.

There's only one man to get them out of this mess. Away from this modern fascination with laptops and whatnot and back to good old fashioned wheelbarrow races

Terry Butcher would be a perfect fit for them

Good shout, him or Pressley, either would be more likely if Potter is staying as whilst they may not be the pick of all the managers round the world they will probably be popular with the numbskulls as "hawrts" men thereby distracting them from the reality short term.

Levein will not be going anywhere unless he is voted off at the AGM or resigns. He is a member of the board , unlike most DOF who are a director in name only , so cant be punted like a normal employee.

It would depend on what their Articles of Association say, but I'd reckon the rest of the Board could vote him off. The AGM vote is there to confirm that.

Didn't he leave before because he felt he wasn't get the right opportunities?

As others have said i fancy it to go to one of the 2 cavemen. Hartley is a good manager imo

I heard from a pal that Jon Daly is front runner for the job if/when Cathro goes, another yes man to Levein.

Yes please!

He'd have them playing typical hearts Football, really badly... and can you imagine the stick he'd get at the derby!

The volume from the Hibs end would be turned up to eleven. :greengrin

Don't know how much it would effect the boards decision, but Elvis is hated by a lot of Hearts fans these days, would be surprised to see him go back there as manager

Could you imagine how motivated Stokes would be on derby day if Hearts had Elvis in their dugout?

He left because on numerous occasions he warned about pumping the physio.
