Good to see the car park is still for Hibs fans only. I'd read that it had been removed as an away fan car park.

271 fans in away season ticket scheme so will leave around 750 for season ticket holders on Tuesday.

I' not sure I agree with that tbh. They've been selling out the south (3500) for years at ER. How many times have we sold out our 900-950?

If we can consistently sell out ER against the lower sides andprove that we can actually keep up attendances then aye, go for it

Sounds high and a bit unfair when tickets are scarce. No problems with players getting comps, but the club needs to be more considerate to the fans in such situation and be a bit more sensible with the numbers, if indeed that figure is accurate.

The last time we were at Ibrox was December 2015 when we were challenging them at the top of the Championship so that explains the interest in that particular match.

Doesn't matter where they were. They're here now and I'm all for it. The more season tickets sold the better players we have.

Success breads success and if the day ever comes were we sell out the home allocation to season tickets trust me we're doing something right to justify it.

Between the 1-0 win in the 90s (Jackson penalty) and the sproule game, there was dozens of games where we couldn’t fill our allocation at Ibrox. Since skelping them there became a regular occurrence, we usually sell out.

Had some great victories there since Sproule.

3-0 sproule hat trick
3-0 cup game
1-0 murph header
3-0 calderwood
2-0 Stevenson game

Think I’m forgetting at least another one. Sure we beat them twice at Ibrox under Stubbs. If we beat them this time, it could top all of those games, purely for the absolute rage that would engulf the Huns in their desire for post cup revenge.

Having said that wouldn't a loyalty points system be useful? The club could make the cut off at the figure to ensure everyone in that group could get a ticket (if they want). If not all taken up move to the next group.

The decision to scrap loyalty points has proven to be a joke. The Rangers tickets will go to the season ticket holders who are sad able/sad enough to camp out overnight for tickets.

Our group attend every game but we won't camp out. Like has been mentioned it is ridiculous in this day and age. Cut the crap out and bring back loyalty points.

Really can't understand why the club scrapped the loyalty points system, saves people queuing from 5am and sometimes overnight. Also means the fans that turn up to the most games and have been to the most games get first choice.

Me too, it clearly had its flaws but it surely has to be better than the current system.

It has to be right that the people who go to the most matches get priority to buy tickets for matches where demand far outstrips supply.

If you go to every game, why not buy an away season ticket then, if you want to be guaranteed an away ticket. It's not like you need to fork out a lump sum at start of the season, just pay as the games come up.

No I don't have an away season ticket as I go with a group of 6 and none of the others were interested as some miss the odd away game plus we want to sit together. I've never had any difficulty getting tickets but I'm becoming a bit concerned about this game.

You better queue overnight then or go down about 6-7 am and when you're in the queue when they go on sale try to get online on your phone, double your chances.

There will be a minimum of 600 available for fans after players and staff have had their chance (up to 4 each according to a poster on here) and the 271 away season ticket holders have been allocated theirs. Maximum 700 tickets give or take available, usually split 50/50 between office or online. It should all be done online nowadays imo. The days of queuing up overnight should be long gone.

**** that. You can guarantee yourself a ticket if you que early enough. The same can't be said online.

Loyalty points was the way. Give the top 1000 point holders a chance to buy a ticket and if you fall into that bracket great, if not then tough luck. Just a shame hibs made a complete james blunt of it.

I agree mate its well known I'm a supporter of the LP system, it is a shame Hibs ****ed it up. However its been done to death and theres no need go over it again as the LP system will not return. If it was online only there would still be queuing, you'd just be able to do it from the comfort of your own home. Personally I think this would be the better option and in-person sales shouldn't take place on day 1 of sales for games where it's anticipated there will be a quick sell out.

I agree. I doubt there are many, if any, ST holders who don't have access to their online account or have their account linked to another user who could do it for them. No doubt we will hear from them as soon as Royal Mail deliver their letter to Hibs.net secret HQ.

Was a bit of a mess the last time we queued for Tynecastle tickets. The queue was hundreds long when they opened the West Stand door to let the queue shelter in the concourse. A steward then opened a side door which meant the middle and rear of the queue made a dash for the front to be met by the front of the queue thundering in to take their place.
A few heated words followed but it calmed down as Big Frank handed out vouchers to cover the number of tickets available and if you did not get a voucher you were told early am that you were not going to get a ticket
A few guys who turned up an hour after me left with tickets an hour before me such was the mess with the queue. Hopefully it's a bit better organised this time and fellow Hibs fans don't take advantage and jump the queue as happened the last time.

It's a shambles that it has come to this in this day and age.

In spite of the pissing and moaning I thought the old loyalty scheme worked fine. I didn't miss out on many tickets but I missed out on a few and didn't really have any complaints when I did.

I've just contented myself with the fact that I miss a few games these days.

I'd have loved to have gone to Ibrox but I'm not getting to Easter Road at 4am to queue for 7 hours for any event, ever.

New PR from fishy site.

Ahead of the sale of tickets for Hibernian’s trip to Ibrox, here are five things to note:
1. Sales Time
Tickets will go on sale at 11am, and not 10am as previously stated. This will be the case for sales both in person and online/by phone. The Ticket Office will open at 11am.
The change has been made following discussions with Ticketmaster to ensure the smooth operation of online and phone sales by maximising the amount of resource that Ticketmaster can provide.
2. Ticket Split
We are expecting a significant level of demand for these tickets, which is almost certain to outstrip the supply of tickets we have for the fixture.
Tickets will be sold in person at the Hibernian Ticket Office, online through eTicketing and by phone. Tickets will be split equally between the Ticket Office and online/phone.
A voucher system will be in operation for those queueing in person. Once the vouchers have been distributed the queue will be closed and nobody else will be able to join the queue.
We would encourage supporters to use the online system where possible.
3. Transaction Limits
The sale is open exclusively to season ticket holders, restricted to one per client reference number. As with previous sales, there is a maximum limit of 10 tickets per transaction, so you will not be able to purchase more than 10 tickets. A valid client reference number is required for each ticket you may look to reassign when purchasing as part of a group – please ensure you have this information to hand when purchasing at the Ticket Office, and have your network up-to-date if purchasing online.
4. Online Details
Supporters are encouraged to check their online account today to ensure all information is up-to-date.
CLICK HERE TO VISIT ETICKETING (https://www.eticketing.co.uk/hibernianfc/)
5. Ticket Collection
Tickets purchased online or by phone on Tuesday will be available for collection from Wednesday.
For full ticket information please click HERE (http://www.hibernianfc.co.uk/news/7729)

They'll count out how many in the queue/tickets they need, verses how many they have to sell at the office. If they have 300 tickets as an example, they'll give out 300 vouchers. The rest will be told to go home

I remember the old days at Liverpool when eligibility was decided by your season ticket number. For example tickets available to those who's season ticket number ends in a four or five. Extended to another number if not all sold. The next game it was different numbers and so on.

Surely this is a joke, TM have about 350 tickets to sell, it makes no difference if it takes 20 minutes or 1hr 20 min to get through online if you're sitting in the comfort of your own home or office. However an hour makes a hell of a difference if you have been queuing from 5/6am. Why don't they increase the amount of ticket office staff to minimise the wait for folk in the queue.

Try to login about an hour before and keep refreshing till your in the queue. Cross your fingers you don't get chucked out but can all go pear shaped for no apparent reason. 3 of us tried for tickets to Tynecastle last season and none of us got through, ended up buying the hospitality tickets that came up. The loyalty points system allowed you to try and get a ticket in waves and was not perfect but fairer imho than a 13k ST holders all scrambling for a ticket at the same time. Good luck.
